COMBAT SAMBO TO LIVE BY

I’ve studied many different forms of martial arts over the years.  Sambo in particular also has my attention as one of the deadliest martial arts on the planet.  It is one of the few arts that views it’s relevance to self-defense just as highly as it’s contribution to sport.  It’s high speed and high impact moves aren’t really understood here in the states.  For instance Jiu-Jitsu is such a chess match, it’s beautifully methodical while Sambo is flat out explosive and brutal.  Sambo more resembles a street fight.  That’s why Sambo is taught as a way of life in Russia.  Fighting for your life was simply “The” way of life during the tough times of Russia’s past.  Check out some Combat Sambo training on this video and enjoy.
