Snowflake

Winter snow can definitely throw a monkey wrench into your training plans, especially if you have a fight coming up. You can’t let a little thing like freezing-deadly snow get in your way of cutting weight and keeping fit. There are many ways to burn calories without taking a dangerous drive to your gym and let’s face it, no one’s gonna be at the gym anyway. Upon winters first snowflake most reasonable people stay inside cuddled up next to their loved ones drinking hot cocoa. Not us, we’re machines. We won’t reason with weather. Rain, sleet, snow and burning temperatures can’t keep us from doing what we do best…. pushing the physical boundaries of our bodies. So hear we go. Here’s a few winter activites to help you kill the calories before winter kills your workout.

Ice skating at a moderate pace: 476 calories per hour
Downhill Skiing at a moderate pace: 408 calories per hour
Sledding: 476 calories per hour
Snow Shoeing: 544 calories per hour
Snowmobiling: 238 calories per hour
Shoveling Snow: 205 calories per hour
Building a Snowman then fighting it: 140 calories per hour
